I’m constantly hearing about these rich celebrities all the time buying ridiculous things like huge diamonds, huge boats, jets, $5000+ shoes… blah blah blah. And if they aren’t out blowing money on useless crap they are throwing ridiculously expensive parties or out spending money on drugs.

My question is this:

Do celebrities ever spend their ridiculous salaries on anything useful? Like maybe purchasing solar panels and wind turbines to reduce our dependence on foreign oil? Or maybe donate some money towards intelligence agencies so they find terrorists before they fly planes into buildings… or do something worse like a nuclear attack (which by the way apparently there is a 30-50% chance of a nuclear attack occurring on US soil in the next 10 years **ref: ABC news, New Hampshire Debates, Jan 5, 2007)

Hello! My mother has a boat and two outboards they’re considering donating to just get rid of. Before they do this, I’d like to know if any of this is worth selling and if so, how much we should ask for.

What she has:

Mercury 9.9 outboard (roughly 1987). Great condition, always stored indoors. Hasn’t been run in about 10+ years.

Mercury 70 outboard (also, roughly 1987). Condition unknown, left outside uncovered attached to boat.

Boat: 1987 17′ Arima Sea Chaser . Condition is less than good. It’s been left outside for about 10 years, uncovered.

Maybe its porely trained people that work in them fields of work. You can only blaim lack of spending so much when there is money already being speant on that. Some people realy do there part at there job where others are just flat out lazzy and disrespectful and spend to much time sitting in there nice cozzy chair at her cozzy desk with there fancy PC and all that stuff they take from home to make there office feel more like home and thats fine and dandy if they probly was sharper and more profetional at what they should be doing.

But the funny thing is even no matter how much them people make there office feel and look like home its not there home they punch in on a time clock like everyone else the put there time it in at work/home doing what they need to do so they can go to there real home.

Yes its a wonderful world. With alot of over paid lazzy people in it at whos exspence ?

I have read the bible (twice) and the koran (once) completely. I once was a christian. I have completely discounted both documents as being completely absurd for many reasons. Neither book is PROOF of ANYTHING except that humans are superstitious. The bible contradicts itself in a thousand places, as does the koran. Both have scientific impossibilities that cannot be reconciled, such as rainbows being “sent” by god, when we all know that they are formed by refracted light. There is not enough water on the entire planet, in ANY form, to flood the whole world. It is impossible to fit even one of each creature on a 400ft boat. There were giants before the flood AND after the flood, even though every living thing supposedly died. Where are the giants now?

PROVE TO ME THAT THE BIBLE OR KORAN GOD EXISTS AND I WILL DONATE ONE MILLION DOLLARS TO YOUR RELIGIOUS GROUP!!!

Alright so let me tell you the story first, I promise it will make the question much more easier. Ok so my so called friend Haley and I have been like best friends since the first day of the the first grade. We’ve gone on many camping trips together, done sports together, never had a huge fight (all of our fights have been for under an hour),been in all of the same classes in elementary, and even went to Florida together. But now shes changed. So first of all she talking about me behind my back. Shes telling my other friend, Kelsey, about how she always has me over at her house and i never invite her over to mine. Ugh that is well sorta true but my mom doesn’t like to have her over because she never picks up te huge mess she makes and can’t be happy with just watching tv, she always has to be doing something, therefore, we limit her time over at our house. And she even told Kelsey this the day after i had her over! And plus i don’t even like going over to her house, they don’t eat really anything normal, just extremely gross healthy crap. But i go over there because i feel bad saying oh no sorry and just making up some lame excuse why i can’t. She acts like shes so great when really she’s not. Then when she came over i was showing her my new clothes from hollister, j crew and abercrombie (our family is very fortunate and i am an only child so that should explain it) and she told me how much she disliked them and thought they were ugly. She also complanes constantly that i should get a facebook when im not even aloud to because im only 12 and my parents say no. Shes 11 months younger then me and has one! That says shes 11 years old!she recently went to guatamala with her church mission group thing which was $1000 per peson and sent us letters asking to donate money for her to go. Her family has ALOT and there is no way that they couldnt pay for themselves. So when i was over at her house we were passing back thank you noted to the people that donated. She asks me if i donated. I say idk. She looks throught the letters and says oh…nope super rudely. So kelseys b-day party is this weekend and haley is going to be there. So should i ignore her the whole time? Because there is no way i will ever be her friend again. Im so sick of her crap! How can i end this friend ship with out actually saying i dont want to be your friend anymore at kelseys party because its her party, its not about me.

And i dont mean she isnt content with just watching tv. We swim, play wii, do gymnastics, play cetch, jump on the trampoline, back and lots more stuff. It seems like shes super bored and not happy that we are not going somewhere. Im not a brat for not donating money, i mean her parents are super high on the corperate latter in lexus, have 2 brand new cars, and a huge house and boat! They dont need our money and im not being rude or a snob or anything by showing her my clothes. Shes asked to see them!
